The Mount Vernon
Strength & Conditioning Program is designed to assist students in
increasing strength, speed, flexibility and overall athleticism. We strive to
develop student athletes that are dedicated and strong not only in the weight
room, but in character - by providing a safe, supervised environment where all
students have access to the tools they need to reach peak performance.
Students also have the
option to sign up for one of the available wellness/strength & conditioning
courses and train during the school day. The class setting provides the
necessary structure and consistency needed to help individual student athletes
and their teams reach their fitness goals.
At Mount Vernon, we
strive to provide the knowledge and and framework each student and team needs
to effectively reach their potential on and off the playing field.
Students have access
to the weight room, individualized instruction and tailored programs both
before and after school. Team training is coordinated through the head coach of
each sport.
