Varsity Wrestling Closes Out 2024-25 Season with High Placements at State

MACON, Ga. - The Mount Vernon Varsity Wrestling squad capped off a memorable season at the GHSA State Traditionals last week at the Macon Coliseium.

MV finished 10th overall in Class-A with multiple top finishes.

Highlights of the event are below:











120lb - JC Moeser - 5th Place
132lb - Pace Lilenfeld - 3rd Place
138lb - Chip Fahlbusch - 4th Place
113lb - Benjamin Easterlin - 1-2 record
157lb - Keon Clealand 1-2 record
HWT - Ryley Fuller 2-2 record

Moeser finished his high school career as a 3x State Qualifier and 2x State Place Winner.
