ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon Varsity Softball team remains on fire.

The Mustangs own a 14-game winning streak and have remained undefeated thus far in 2025.

Below are quip recaps of MV's games this past week.








at WESTMINSTER - W, 12-3 (Sept. 10)
Senior Priscilla Andrin became the all-time hits leader for the Mustangs as MV defeated the Westminster School Wildcats 12-3 on the road.

MV scored six runs in the first two innings of action to take a commanding lead.

Mount Vernon would score in every inning but one (the fifth) and outhit Westminster 9-8.

Andrin and Bella Durkee finished with two RBI's while Olivia McDougall and Mamie Bowen drove in one run each.

Ella Clockadale posted three hits in the leadoff spot and scored three runs as well.

Durkee hit a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth.

McDougall picked up her eighth win of the season in the circle, scattering eight hits with two strikeouts and two walks.



at WALKER - W 11-0 (Sept. 9)
MV continued its winning ways with an 11-0 victory over the Walker School Wolverines in five innings on the road.

Priscilla Andrin finished with a game-high four RBI's, going 2-for-3 at the plate with a home run and a double.

Alex Schiff was 3-for-3 with with two RBI's and two runs scored.

MV finished with seven extra-base hits with Ella Clockadale recording two doubles.

MV led 5-0 at the end of the second inning and scored six runs in the top of the fifth to bring the run-rule into effect.

Bella Durkee earned the win in the circle allowing just two hits with seven strikeouts and three walks.



Mount Vernon (14-0) is back in action on Monday, Sept. 15, hosting St. Francis.

First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Mustang Park.
