With the calendar year of 2016 concluding in several days, reflection on the successful prep season for Northside programs shows several teams and individuals earning state championships and reaching various levels of success within the Georgia High School Association (GHSA).

Mount Vernon Presbyterian saw its baseball, football, softball, girls’ tennis and volleyball teams make the state playoffs while girls’ track and field athlete Morgan Lewis earned first in the 100-meter hurdles.
