Varsity Volleyball Nets 2-0 Road Win Over Paideia School

ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon Varsity Volleyball team picked up an impressive road win on Monday, August 24, shutting out the Paideia School Pythons 2-0.

MV took the first set 25-15 followed by a 25-14 win in the second set.

The Mustangs controlled the tempo throughout the match, totaling 13 aces, 27 digs and 17 kills.

Riley Campbell and Sophia Hardie each finished with three aces.

Hardie posted five kills and Campbell had four kills as well.

Maggie Hodges, Maddie Bargar and Campbell also had three digs apiece.

Mount Vernon (5-4) returns to action on Thursday, August 27, traveling to play in a tri-match at Mount Paran Christian School.

The Mustangs take on Mount Paran at 5 p.m. followed by a match against North Paulding High School at 6 p.m. at Hughes Gymnasium.
