SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - The Mount Vernon swim and dive program and head coach Jim Mathews have announced dates for sign-ups and the annual athlete/parent meeting.
Sign-ups for middle school and varsity will take place from August 27-29.
Grades 5-8 will be collected by Coach Debbie Markland while grades 9-12 will be conducted by Coach Mathews.
The athlete/parent meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 4 from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Glenn Campus cafeteria.
Athletes will be fitted for swim suits and the online gear store will open that night.
If a student's GHSA physical has not been completed within the last year, it will need to be updated before the first practice, scheduled for Oct. 15.
The swim and dive season gets underway Oct. 15 and concludes Feb. 9.
