THOMASTON, Ga. - The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released an updated edition of the Class-A Private Softball Power Ratings on Wednesday, Sept. 19, with the Mustangs (6-8, 2-2 Reg. 5-A) coming in at no. 14 overall in the polls.
The ratings are used to determine the Top-24 teams from Class-A Public and Private. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA State Playoffs.

The Mustangs return to action on Wednesday, Sept. 19, hosting the no. 1 Wesleyan Wolves at 5:15 p.m. at the Glenn Campus Softball Field.
Mount Vernon then travels to Decatur, Ga. for a two-day tournament at the Decatur High School Tourney at Oakhurst Park on Sept. 21-22.
