Mustangs Down to No. 16 in Second GHSA Class-A Private Football Power Ratings

THOMASTON, Ga. - The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the second edition of the Class-A Private Football Power Ratings on Monday, Sept. 24, with the Mustangs (4-1, 2-0 Reg. 5-A) coming in at no. 16 overall in the polls, down four spots from last week's ranking.

The ratings are used to determine the Top-24 teams from Class-A Public and Private. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA State Playoffs.

The Mustangs return to action on Friday, Sept. 28, hosting Holy Innocents in a critical Region 5-A contest on Homecoming 2018.

Kickoff against the Golden Bears (T-27 in the Week 2 Power Ratings) is slated for 4:30 p.m. at the Glenn Campus Football Field.
