MUSTANGS MOVE UP TO NO. 13 IN THIRD GHSA CLASS-A PRIVATE FOOTBALL POWER RATINGS

THOMASTON, Ga. - The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the third edition of the Class-A Private Football Power Ratings on Monday, Oct. 1, with the Mustangs (5-1, 3-0 Reg. 5-A) coming in at no. 13 overall in the polls, up three spots from last week's ranking.

The ratings are used to determine the Top-24 teams from Class-A Public and Private. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA State Playoffs.

The Mustangs return to action on Friday, Oct. 5, traveling to the Wesleyan School for another key Region 5-A contest.

Kickoff against the Wolves is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Henderson Stadium in Norcross, Ga.
