SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. – The Mount Vernon community is pleased to announce and congratulate Athletic Director Brad Dehem, who recently completed his official documentation necessary to become an official Certified Master Athletic Administrator (CMAA).
The CMAA certification is the highest one can achieve within the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.
Dehem has served as Athletic Director since 2014 and has worked extensively with fellow administrators, coaches, student-athletes, parents and fans to position Mount Vernon as one of the best athletic departments in the Atlanta area.
“Brad’s leadership has been instrumental in growing the athletic programs at Mount Vernon,” Associate Athletic Director Dusty Bennett said. “His vision, assessment, and leadership of our athletic program has enhanced our student-athlete experience, provided coaches a platform to innovate, and helped grow relationships across all levels of the Mount Vernon community”.
Dehem was the previous head football coach and Athletic Director at the Brookstone School in Columbus before coming to Mount Vernon.
“Brad’s dedication to service is unmatched and this achievement is well deserved,” Bennett said. “His guidance as an Athletic Director has helped put our department at the forefront of interscholastic athletics.”
Added Bennett: “Brad continuously challenges us to think outside the box and find new and innovative ways to grow the student-athlete experience.”
Dehem is also a member of GADA (Georgia Athletic Director’s Association).
Please join us in congratulating Coach Dehem!
