SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. - Tuesday night, Dec. 11, marked the penultimate week of eSports Season Zero with a mix of victories and losses for Mount Vernon.

Mustangs: PTW climbed back up the state rankings to third place behind no. 2 Denmark High School and no. 1 Mount de Sales Academy.

Now 8-2 on the season, Mustangs: PTW faced off against top-tier Lambert High School earning a hard-fought victory that started off in Lambert's favor. The Mustangs clamped down and rallied to secure the victory after 27 minutes.

Against Wayne County High School, Mustangs: PTW had a easier time, taking the Nexus with a five-member rush to finish the game in 23 minutes.

Renegade Mustangs suffered a tough loss to Colquitt County.

Despite leading in nearly all statistical categories (Gold Per Minute, KDA, Creep score and a 51 to 36 elimination gap in Mount Vernon's favor) Colquitt was able to take the win by focusing on objectives and splitting the Mustangs across the map.
