MARIETTA, Ga. - The Mount Vernon varsity track and field teams returned to action on Wednesday afternoon, March 20, competing in the Walton High School Meet.
Both squads walked away with a fourth place finish, with the varsity girls posting 26 points and the varsity boys totaling 16.
The meet was highlighted by Robert Blumencranz setting a new school record in the 1600M run with a time of 4:49.50 and a fourth place finish in the event.
Blumencranz now holds school records in the 800M run and 1600M run.
