THOMASTON, Ga. - The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the sixth edition of the Class-A Private Baseball Power Ratings on Monday morning, April 15, with the Mustangs (17-3, 7-2 Reg. 5-1A) coming in at no. 4 overall in the polls with a ranking of 13.59.
The ratings are used to determine the Top-24 teams from Class-A Public and Private. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA State Playoffs.

Mount Vernon is in action this week, playing for the Region 5-1A Tournament Championship against Wesleyan with three games scheduled over a three day span from Monday-Wednesday, April 15-17.
The Mustangs travel to Wesleyan on Monday and Wednesday for a 5:30 first pitch.
Mount Vernon will host Wesleyan on Tuesday with first pitch scheduled for 5 p.m.
