Parker Corley to Sign National Letter of Intent with Washington and Lee University on Monday, May 13

ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon Department of Athletics and Varsity Football program is pleased to announce that senior Parker Corley will sign a national letter of intent to play football at Washington and Lee University on Monday, May 13.

The signing will take place inside the Glenn Campus Upper School Building in the Lightbox during Community Time at 9:40 a.m.

Corley totaled 186 rushing yards in senior campaign and averaged 18.6 yards per game rushing. He also picked up two rushing touchdowns in helping lead Mount Vernon to an 8-4 overall record and a perfect 5-0 mark at home.

Under center as the primary back-up, Corley was 4-of-5 passing with 45 yards.

Washington and Lee is a NCAA Division III program competing in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

The Generals finished the 2018 campaign 5-4 overall with a 3-4 record in league play.
