ROME, Ga. - The Mount Vernon varsity girls and boys track and field teams had a strong showing at the GHSA Class-A Private State Meet this past weekend, May 9-11, at Valhalla Stadium.
Below are those who placed in the meet, including times.
-Girls 400M Dash - Jessicka Woods - 1st - 57.70 (PR)
-Girls 300M Hurdles - Jessicka Woods - 1st - 43.88 (PR)
-Boys 4x100M Relay - John Watson, Justin Douglas, Andrew Douglas and Grant Bulak - 3rd - 43.08 (New School Record)
-Boys 800M Run - Robert Blumencranz - 5th - 1:58 (PR and New School Record)
-Boys 100M Dash - Justin Douglas - 7th - 11.22
