Volleyball Sweeps Home Matches Against Paideia and Weber

ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon varsity volleyball team took to the court on Tuesday night, Sept. 3, defeating the Paideia Pythons 2-0 followed by a 2-0 victory over The Weber School Rams.

With the two wins, the Mustangs have won seven straight matches dating back to the Westlake Tournament on Saturday, August 30.

In that tourney, Mount Vernon picked up five victories that included the following: Lovejoy (2-0), Griffin (2-0), Creekside (2-0), Newton (2-0) and host Westlake (2-1).

The Mustangs return to the court on Wednesday, Sept. 4, hosting Greater Atlanta Christian in a best three-of-five match.

First serve is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Upper Campus Gymnasium.
