THOMASTON, Ga. - The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the first edition of the Class-A Private Football Power Ratings on Monday, Sept. 16, with the Mustangs (2-1) coming in at no. 19 overall in the polls.
The ratings are used to determine the Top-24 teams from Class-A Public and Private. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA State Playoffs.

The Mustangs return to action on Friday, Sept. 20, hosting the no. 8 Trinity Christian School Lions (3-0) to open up Region 5-1A play.
Kickoff is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Upper Campus Football Field.
