ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon varsity volleyball team is set to begin play in the Area-1 Private Volleyball Tournament, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 7 and Thursday, Oct. 10 at Holy Innocents.
Mount Vernon will be the no. 1 seed in the tournament after finishing the season with the best record in region play.
Mount Vernon will play at 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 7 against the winner of the Paideia/Galloway match.
If the Mustangs win, they will advance to the Championship match on Thursday, Oct. 10, with the opponent to be determined.
The Championship match will be played at 5 p.m. at Holy Innocents.
