DACULA, Ga - The Mount Vernon varsity volleyball team picked up a win in the first round of the GHSA A/AA Private State Tournament on Saturday, Oct. 19, defeating the Calvary Day School Cavaliers 3-0 [25-22/25-21/25-16] at Hebron Christian Academy.
Mount Vernon will now take on the Hebron Christian Lions, the no. 1 seed from Area 7, on Tuesday, Oct. 22 in a best-of-five series.
First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Lions Arena.
