ACWORTH, Ga. - "On Monday, Oct. 5, the Mount Vernon middle school boys and girls cross country teams competed in the Metro-10 Championships at Allatoona State Park.
The Boys placed third out of ten teams; the mere seven point separation between the first, second, and third place boys teams shows how the competition was very close.
The girls placed second of ten teams, trailing the winners by eight points and carving out second place by a single point.
Congratulations to all runners and coaches for working hard to form strong teams and for completing a very successful season.
