Boys Soccer Blanks Weber School Rams on the Road 7-0

ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon varsity boys soccer team pushed its winning streak to four games on Wednesday afternoon, March 3, defeating the Weber School Rams 7-0 on the road.

Parker Hollosi and Jamal Arif led the Mustangs, each recording a hat trick (three goals) in the contest.

Teammate Noah Ayala had the other goal for the Mustangs.

Hollosi, Arif, Moritz Martin, and Liam O'Leary each tallied one assist in the victory as well.

After dropping the first two matches of the season, the Mustangs have now outscored opponents 23-4 over the past four matches.

Three of the last four matches have been shutouts as well.

Arif and Hollosi have made a significant impact on Mount Vernon's recent successes as well.

Arif has scored 12 goals in the first six games of the season while Hollosi has netted 10.

Hollosi also scored his 52nd career goal in Wednesday's win over Weber.

The Mustangs (4-2) are back on the pitch on Thursday, March 4, traveling to Sandy Creek High School.

Kickoff against the Patriots is slated for 7:55 p.m. in Tyrone, Ga.
