ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon varsity girls soccer team picked up a 5-3 victory on Monday afternoon, defeating the Mt. Paran Christian School Eagles 5-3 at the Upper Campus Stadium Field.
Emery Hoffman and Audrey O'Toole each scored two goals for the Mustangs.
Landry Kruep also netted one goal in the victory.
Emily Raeside led the squad with two assists while teammate Ella Ruth Campbell tallied one.
The Mustangs (5-2) are back on the pitch on Tuesday afternoon, March 30, hosting the Providence Christian Storm in a key Region 5-1A contest.
Kickoff is slated for 5:30 p.m.
