ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hosting of the second annual MVEE Awards Night, scheduled for Monday night, May 3.
The event will be held at The Springs Cinema and Taphouse in Sandy Springs from 6:30-9:00 p.m.
The MVEEs bring together the best Mount Vernon Athletics sports stories throughout the year in one amazing night.
This years' event is unique in that student-athletes and families will watch the ceremony at the drive-in theater.
Student-athletes will be recognized "ESPY Style" and awarded for best male and female athlete, best team performance, best individual performance, best comeback performance and courage award, just to name a few.
"We are incredibly excited about our MVEE Awards Night," Athletic Director Brad Dehem said. "Regardless of who wins an award, all of these student-athletes give a tremendous amount of time and energy to our athletic programs, and we truly want to honor them for their dedication and hard work with a special night."
The schedule is as follows:
-Car Arrival & Parking - 6:30-7:30 p.m.
-Outdoor Car Dine In - 6:30-8:00 p.m.
-Awards Show - 8:00-9:00 p.m.
