Mount Vernon Spring Senior Signing Day Recap (Class of 2021)

ATLANTA – Four Mustang seniors signed National Letters of Intent (NLOI) on Wednesday, May 5, as part of Mount Vernon’s Spring Signing Day Celebration outside the Upper Campus Gym.

The total signees for the Class of 2021 is now six after Sarah Schab (softball) and Evan Bell (swimming) signed with their respective schools back in February.

Below are all of the signees from the Class of 2021 and more information on their signing.





Andrew Douglas – Football – US Military Academy (Westpoint)
Years at MV: 5
Other sports: Basketball and Track & Field
Football Awards: Second Team All-Region as a sophomore; First Team All-Region and Preseason All-State as a junior; Offensive Player of the Year, AJC Preseason All-State and First Team All-State as a senior.

Cole Forrest – Baseball – Belmont Abbey College
Years at MV: 15
Other sports: Basketball
Awards: Mustang Award; Team Captain of basketball team as sophomore.

Grant Bulak – Track & Field – Purdue University
Years at MV: 4
Other sports: Tennis and football
Awards: Third in the state in 4x100; Holds the school record in the 300 meter.

Parker Hollosi – Soccer – Northumbria University Newcastle
Years at MV: 4
Other sports: Cross Country
Awards (soccer): Second Team All-Region once; First Team All-Region three times; Single-season goal-scoring records of 23 and 27; Career goal-scoring record (68).

Sarah Schab – Softball – Swathmore College
Years at MV: 9
Awards: All-Region Pitcher 2019; All-Area Pitcher 2020; 2018 FloSoftball #146 Class of 2021 Nationally; 2021 ExtraInnings Top 150 Pitcher Class of 2021.

Evan Bell – Swimming – Augustana University
Years at MV: 4
Awards: Team Captain for three years (sophomore, junior and senior); 200-yard medley state champion for 1-3A schools; 200-yard free relay second place; Sixth place 100-yard fly; Tenth place in 100-yard backstroke; First Team All-State twice; Two-time All-American; First Team All-State at 2020 State Meet.
