ATLANTA - After a thrilling season that saw the Mustangs advance to the Elite 8 for the first time in program history, the Mount Vernon varsity softball team has been awarded with nine players earning spots on the All-Area 3 Private Team.
"We are so proud of all of our girls as they all contributed to our Elite 8 run in Columbus," Head Coach Mike Edmonson said. "Their hard work and determination paid off and it's great to see them rewarded at the end of a great season."
