ALPHARETTA, Ga. - The Mount Vernon Varsity Swim team was in action on Tuesday afternoon, Jan. 10, competing against the Saint Francis Knights on the road.

Several Mustang swimmers picked up first and second place finishes.

"Our small but mighty team did very well," Head Coach Kylie Martinez said. "Our girls won against Saint Francis and our boys swam really well with a limited number available."

The Mustangs are back in the water on Thursday, Jan. 12 at the Marist Tri-Meet, competing with the host War Eagles and the Riverwood Raiders.

Events are set to start at 5:30 p.m. at the Marist Aquatic Center.
