MARIETTA, Ga. - After finishing the GHSA Sectionals on Saturday, the Mount Vernon Varsity Wrestling team finished fifth overall at the Marietta Blue Devil Brawl on Monday, Jan. 16 at Marietta High School.
Altogether the Mustangs had three champions, one runner-up, one third and one fourth place finish.
"It was truly great to see the team compete which is something our coaching staff is proud of," Head Coach Derrick Washington said.

The Mustangs are back in action on Wednesday, Jan. 18 competing in the Walker Quad Meet hosted by The Walker School.
Matches are set to start at 5 p.m.
