Track and Field Has Strong Showing at AJ Terrell Invitational

ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon Varsity Track and Field teams were in action over the weekend, competing at the prestigious AJ Terrell Invitational at Westlake High School on Saturday, March 18.

Several members of the Varsity Boys and Varsity Girls track squad had memorable days.

Kennedy Reynolds placed fourth overall in the 300M Hurdles, posting a time of 46.19.

With her finish, Reynolds is now ranked no. 1 in Class-A DI.

Collin Maher took third place overall in the 800M Run with a time of 1:59.38.

Maher is now ranked no. 2 in Class-A DI.

Harris Flynn finished in the Top-10 in two running events: 800M and 1600M.

With his finishes, Flynn is now ranked no. 4 in Class-A DI in both events.

Other Mustangs finished with PR's on Saturday as well. Below is a list of events and team members who achieved their PR.

The Mustangs are back in action on Saturday, March 25 at the 6th Annual Metro Atlanta Track and Field Championships.

Events are set to begin at 9 a.m. at Pace Academy.
