ROME, Ga. - Several members of the Mount Vernon Track and Field team posted impressive outings at the GHSA Class-A DI State Championships, held Friday-Saturday, May 12-13, at Barron Stadium.

Below is a quick recap of placements for the Mustangs.









-Boys 4x800 Meter: 2nd Place (Curran Jolly, Haris Flynn, James Knight and Collin Maher) - 8:07

-Boys 4x400 Meter: 2nd Place (Nagari Tophia, Haris Flynn, Curran Jolly, and Collin Maher) - 3.25.10

-Boys 1600 Meter Run: Haris Flynn - 3rd Place (4:30.60)

-Boys 100 Meter Dash - Nagari Tophia - 4th Place (11.14)

-Girls 100 Meter Hurdles - Kennedy Reynolds - State Champion (15.16)

-Girls 300 Meter Hurdles - Kennedy Reynolds - State Champion (44.02)

-Boys 800 Meter Run - Haris Flynn - 3rd Place (1:59.45)

-Boys 800 Meter Run - Curran Jolly - 4th Place (2:01.03)
