ATLANTA - The Mount Vernon Varsity Wrestling team was in action on Monday night, Jan. 8, hosting the North Cobb Christian School Eagles on Senior Night at the Upper Campus Gym.
The Mustangs came away with a 54-23 victory to earn their tenth victory of the 2023-24 campaign.

132 lb. - Sophomore Nico Oldland wins by pin
138 lb. - Sophomore Chip Fahlbusch wins by pin
150 lb - Junior Alec Flint wins by forfeit
157 lb. - Senior Ayden Long wins by 9-6 decision
165 lb. - Junior Lukas Woolverton wins by pin
190 lb. - Freshman Graham Schwalb wins by forfeit
215 lb. - Senior Micheal Pozzobon wins by pin
HWT - Junior Ryley Fuller wins by Pin
106 lb. - Sophomore Benjamin Easterlin wins 10-7 decision
126 lb. - Junior John Charles Moeser wins by pin
The Mustangs (10-7) are back in action on Friday, Jan. 12, competing in the Area Duals at St. Francis.
Matches are set to begin at 3:30 p.m. with the top two finishers in each weight class advancing to the State Duals next week.
