Boys Tennis Advances to Sweet 16 with 4-0 Victory Against Trion

DUNWOODY, Ga. - The Mount Vernon Varsity Boys Tennis team is going back to the Sweet 16.

The Mustangs accomplished that feat with a 4-0 victory over Trion High School on Tuesday afternoon, April 16, at Dunwoody Country Club.

Liam O'Leary had a commanding win at no. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-0.

Cadyn Dawson was also dominant in his no. 2 singles match, triumphing 6-1, 6-0.

Matthew Zeldin and Hugh Carter clinched the team win with their 6-0, 6-2 win at no. 2 doubles.

Nico Tur finished his no. 3 singles blowout win at 6-0, 6-0 later in the match.

MV will play Prince Avenue in the Sweet 16 next week.
