After the first round of play on Monday, MV sat one shot behind Darlington and one shot ahead of Prince Avenue with a score of 313.

MV fired on all cylinders in the final round, with Anthony Beccaria leading the charge with a round of 72 (E).

Jonathan Gallinaro was 8-over (80) in 12th place while teammate Jake Green was 10-over (82) in the final round.

Overall, the Mustangs had three players in the Top-10: Koontz, Beccaria and Green.

The State Championship marks the third for the 2023-24 athletic season at Mount Vernon.
