ATLANTA – The Mount Vernon School Athletic Department is pleased to announce a new partnership with Nike, whereby the company will become the official jersey brand for all varsity level athletics.
“Nike is the premiere brand in athletic shoes, apparel, and various sports equipment,” Athletic Director Brad Dehem said. “As one of the most well-known and respected brands in all of sports, the benefits extended to Mount Vernon through this partnership far exceeded any other athletic brand. We could not be prouder of this partnership.”
The school will retain its normal three-year cycle of jerseys for varsity teams as they transition into new uniforms. BSN Sports will continue to be the exclusive vendor for varsity Nike uniforms and as well as providing a Sideline Store for parents and families to order Nike apparel with approved Mount Vernon logos and designs.
The My Team Shop associated with each team will also be transitioning to Nike gear as the seasons move forward as well.
With three weeks until the beginning of the 22-23 academic year, the announcement comes on the heels of substantial summer improvements to campus facilities which includes a brand new, state-of-the-art turf field and a 24’ x 27’ 10mm pixel LED video scoreboard and sound system.
The field will be dedicated on Homecoming on Friday, Sept. 16.
